Wood Innovations Survey - We'd Like Your Input

UPDATE:  The Wood Innovations survey is now CLOSED.  Thank you to everyone who participated.

Kootznoowoo, Inc., in partnership with the City of Angoon, is planning to submit a “2021 Wood Innovations” grant proposal to the U.S. Forest Service. The purpose of the funding is to develop innovative wood products and support the development of local jobs.

The grant proposal that we plan to submit focuses on renovating the “museum” building in Angoon to be a carving and weaving workshop. The workshop would be open to local carvers, weavers, youth, and anyone interested in being part of an Artisan’s Co-op to produce and sell products.

To help ensure a successful grant proposal, we are conducting a brief community survey to gather input about the types of items that could be produced in the workshop. We apologize in advance, if you receive this survey more than once.

CLICK HERE to complete the quick six question survey. It should only take a minute to finish. Please complete as soon as possible so we can tabulate the results and include them in our grant submission.

Gunalchéesh for your participation and for taking the time to complete this important survey.
